The Harvard Group LLC (THG) is seeking a qualified, licensed medical provider to support a Maryland Army National Guard medical readiness program in Reisterstown and Edgewood, Maryland.
This is a part-time, three-day-per-week opportunity supporting the medical readiness of Maryland Army National Guard Soldiers. The selected provider will conduct medical readiness assessments and examinations, including Periodic Health Assessments (PHA), Post-Deployment Health Assessments (PDHA), Post-Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHRA), and physical examinations associated with military schools and other readiness requirements.This position is contingent upon contract award.

- Primary ResponsibilitiesThe selected medical provider will:Conduct Periodic Health Assessments (PHA)
- Conduct Post-Deployment Health Assessments (PDHA)
- Conduct Post-Deployment Health Re-Assessments (PDHRA)
- Perform military medical and physical examinations
- Assess Soldier medical readiness and fitness-for-duty information
- Review relevant civilian medical documentation
- Document medical readiness information in applicable military medical systems
- Educate Soldiers regarding health, wellness, prevention, and medical-readiness resources
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Privacy Act, Army, DoD, and Maryland requirements
No routine medical treatment is provided under this position. The requirement is limited to medical readiness examinations, screening, evaluation, and readiness determinations.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- MD, DO, Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active, current, unrestricted Maryland medical license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum three years of experience as a medical provider working directly with military populations
- Ability to perform medical readiness assessments with minimal guidance
- Ability to communicate effectively with Soldiers, clinical staff, and military leadership
- Available to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Able to work on-site in both Reisterstown and Edgewood, Maryland
- Able to satisfy applicable DoD installation-access/background requirements
For PAs, the PWS additionally requires an active collaboration agreement with a collaborating physician in accordance with Maryland requirements.

CompensationCompensation for this part-time position is anticipated to range from $80–$85 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated military medical-readiness experience.
